  1. The conflict in Where The Red Fern Grows is when Billy, Grandpa, and His Father enter a coon hunt championship; Billy cannot see or hear his dogs over the terrible blizzard winds.
  2. My favorite character is Billy because he doesn't give up until he gets what he wants; no matter how long it takes to get it. Billy is a protagonist, he's major, and static. "I told you, Grandpa," I said, "I was saving money so I could buy two hound pups, and I did."
  3. Learn to write with more of a view like you are there watching as you are writing every movement.
  4. Adoration- I was well repaid by the love and adoration I saw in the wide blue eyes of my three little sisters. POS:Noun. Definition:Deep love or esteem.
  5. I would like to use it as a class book commercial because it's very descriptive with a lot to talk about.

  1. The conflict in Harry Potter And The Sorcerer's Stone is when Harry attempts to stop Voldemort, who killed Harry’s parents, from stealing the Sorcerer’s Stone. The pain that Harry feels at the end of Chapter 7 when Snape stares at him hints that there is some underlying tension between Harry and Snape.
  2. My favorite character is Ron Weasley.Shy and modest, Ron is Harry’s first friend at Hogwarts.Ron’s willingness to be beaten up by the monstrous chess queen shows how selfless and generous he is. [Hermione] "Aren't you two ever going to read Hogwarts: A History?"
"What's the point? You know it all by heart, we can just ask you." Ron is the Protagonist, he's major, and Static.
  3. Write on a subject that interests the reader.
  4. occult adj. Beyond the realm of human comprehension.
  5. I would do this book as a book commercial because J.K Rowling gives so much detail it would be an easy book.

  1. What was the conflict (label and explain) of one book you are reading? If you are reading non-fiction, what was the main idea? The main character Walter has to go to a condo to live and everybody thinks he is Jewish.
  2. Describe your favorite character (or fact if reading non-fiction). Be sure to use character trait words, character descriptor label (antag/protag, major/minor, static/dynamic), and specific details. Also, use a quote from the book to show when they are exhibiting their traits. If reading non-fiction, discuss and name the organization pattern along with a specific quote that backs up your discussion. Walter is the protagonist he’s major and dynamic. He is protective. “I’m – not – a – Jew!” Pg.115
